The most well known daughter of Asclepius, the god of healing, Hygeia, in her own right, was a great healer and ruled the concept of hygiene and preventative health. Along with her sisters, Panacea (Universal cure) and laso (Remedy) she held a sacred place in the healing process at the temples.
